Angela Taylor · Gatherings
Angela would rather build something with your women's ministry, your team, or your board than fly in for forty minutes and fly out. Practical truth your people can act on, and pastoral presence that holds the room long enough for it to matter.
About Angela
Angela Taylor is a leadership coach, ordained community chaplain, and author who has led gatherings for corporate women, nonprofit leaders, and faith communities across the country. She brings nearly two decades in leadership: thirteen years at Hewlett Packard in global workforce development, senior leadership in oil and gas, eight years running a nonprofit as COO and then CEO, and the founding of Designed to Lead in 2022. Underneath all of it is pastoral care that grounds everything she does in something deeper than strategy.
Her audiences describe her as disarmingly honest, powerfully grounded, and impossible to forget. She doesn't speak from notes. She speaks from life.
Curated With You
Every gathering starts with a conversation about who will be in the room and what they're carrying in with them. Then Angela builds it with you, start to finish, so it fits your people instead of a template.
Who's coming, what they're walking in with, and what you hope they walk out with. Nothing gets planned until that's clear.
Teaching, honest conversation, a panel, time to sit still. Shaped around your people and anchored in what Angela believes, whether she's standing at a pulpit or a podium.
She holds the room from the first welcome to the last word. You get to sit down and be in it too.
A plan they wrote, a conversation they finally had, a knot that came loose. Something they use on Monday, not a feeling that fades by Wednesday.
In the Room
A few minutes with Angela tells you what a page never can: the warmth, the honesty, and the way she holds a room. This is the presence your women will remember long after the gathering ends.

What Angela Teaches
Any of these can anchor a whole gathering, shape a workshop day, or carry a small group for six weeks. Every one is tailored to the people in your room.
A faith-forward message about what it means to be loved by a God who pursues, refines, and refuses to let go. This is not a gentle message. It is a life-changing one. For women who need to be reminded that they are not alone in the fire.
Faith Communities · Women's GatheringsWhat does it look like to lead with faith in spaces that weren't designed for it? Angela draws on her years leading at Hewlett Packard and in oil and gas, and eight years running a nonprofit as COO and then CEO, to speak honestly about keeping your identity, your values, and your sanity when the pressure is on.
Women in Leadership · Leadership TeamsThe women who change rooms are the ones who finally stop waiting for permission to speak. This session is about finding, trusting, and using the voice you were given, in meetings, in relationships, and in the moments that matter most.
Corporate · Women's Leadership · Faith CommunitiesA candid, practical, and often funny conversation about what it actually takes to build a career when you are outnumbered. Angela has been the only woman in many rooms. She knows what helps, what hurts, and what nobody says out loud.
Women in Leadership · Professional AssociationsLead from Within
Lead from Within is Angela's signature coaching and teaching program, a framework that begins where all real leadership begins: with who you are, what you value, and how you treat yourself and others from that foundation.
It is adaptable for faith or general audiences and works equally well as a single session, a full-day workshop, or the foundation for an ongoing coaching engagement. Organizations that have brought Angela in for this program have seen teams realign, leaders rediscover their calling, and cultures begin to shift.
The Framework
You cannot lead well from values you have never named. This is where the work begins.
The way a leader talks to themselves shows up in how they lead everyone else. This is the work most people skip.
Leadership is relational before it is strategic. This pillar builds the skills to lead people, not just manage them.
When your values, your self-leadership, and your relational skills are aligned, everything else follows.
Ways to Gather
For women's ministries and leadership teams. Friday night through Sunday, or one full day, with real room to breathe between the sessions.
Half-day or full-day for teams, boards, and organizations. Interactive, facilitated, and built around what your people are actually facing. They leave with tools, not just inspiration.
Six weeks through Untying Your Knots for your women's ministry or small group, for women who are ready to set down what was never theirs to carry. Every woman who walks through it becomes part of the Household.
"Christian leaders should not be caught off guard by hard times.
God designed us for them."
For Such a Time as This · Esther 4:14
Plan a Gathering
Tell Angela who's coming, what they're carrying, and what you hope they walk out with. She'll get back to you personally, and the first conversation is just that, a conversation.
